In a warning posted on its social media account, the embassy said a student's visa could be revoked if the student drops out, regularly skips classes, or leaves a program of study without notifying the school. Such actions could also create complications when applying for U.S. visas in the future, the embassy warned. The embassy urged students to comply with all visa requirements and maintain their lawful status as students while studying in the United States.

Warning for International Students

International students in the United States are required to comply not only with the academic requirements of their schools but also with U.S. immigration rules governing their student status.
