Asian American Democratic Caucus of Gwinnett Executive committee meeting Held

On December 6th, Monday Asian American Democratic Caucus of Gwinnett (AADCG) held a very successful and positive meeting of its Executive committee at Georgia Diners'. The gathering was dignified by the presence of Mike Berlon and Steve Deak, who are the outgoing Chairman and the current Chairman of Gwinnett county Democratic Party respectively.
In the beginning AADCG handed a gift to Mr. Mike Berlon for his excellent service to the Gwinnett county Democratic party as well as to the Gwinnettians. Caucus congratulates its four members, Mr. Harun Roshid, Dr. Rashid Malik, Mr. Mohammed Zakir Hossain Mukul, and Mr. Shyam Chanda, who were newly elected to the Executive Committee of Gwinnett county Democratic party. It also welcomes the newly co-opted Executive caucus members- Mr. Rajib Azad, Mr. Tony Patel, and Mr. Shafi Azad.
With Mr. Roshid in the chair, AADCG reviewed its activities of past three months. Formation of the AADCG, involvement in communities of Asian countries, Members recruitemnt, Starting an ESL School ASAP, and hosting a public gathering in near future were particularly discussed. Caucus Secreatry Mr. Parvez conducted the meeting and Mr. Shyam Chanda, Mr. Mohammed Zakir Hussain, Mr. Faruque Ahmed, and others take part in the discussion set in the agenda and put up their opinions about the AADCG activities.
Mike Berlon spoke about the recent local and national political trends and put a high importance on strengthening the collaboration among the immigrant communities in favor of main stream political process as well as towards the national development. He appreciates what we have accomplished the in past three months. Mike hopes that his run for the GA State Democratic Party chairman Post will be a successful one in next year Jan. 29, 2011. Steve Deak voices vital directives to improvise the polling records of our candidates in Gwinnett by spreading the political activities among all precincts of the county.
At the end Mr. Roshid thanks all who were present in the meeting.
