Hasina Government 2009: "Original" Democracy at work!

Like Cholesterol, corruption is not always bad! But at first, let's broach the story before the stories! If you have a "political enemy at home", you could easily be the target of undue attack any time! Yesterday, I saw my wife (for 28 years), a "friendly enemy" of my political minds performing a special prayer! Her voice was truly choked with genuine tears that prompted my instant fear, a definitive warning sign of impending thunder storm (over her husband). No, this young and charming lady was indeed praying, and praying for the ultimate "Protection, Safety and Security for life" of her the most favorite role models, Sk. Hasina and Khaleda Zia of Bangladesh! Reason: She is an ebullient fan of both Hasina and Khaleda and that both of her supreme leaders "near missed" deaths from "poisoned foods", stealthily served by 2 newly registered national culprits, Moenuddin and Fakruddin Esqr. She humbly thanked almighty God for His kindness and mercy to God-fearing "secular" Hasina and neo-Razakar Khaleda!

Well, I am not a misogynist and also have gladly embraced woman's leadership at home (and abroad!) for so many years! No, I am not a coward by any means! Most often, making points against "tenured CEO at home" would invite only noisy troubles of all kinds! So this time, I have been amenable to her poignant moments and been respectful to her compassionate love and loyalty to these 2 national mega-stars. But, I also firmly mentioned to her that "Importer(s) of Corrupted Poison" deserve more thanks and approbation, recognizing that "corrupted poison" (tainted) actually saved Hasina/Khaleda's life (s) and probably could not do any harm or damage to them! Do you now see the amazing "blessings of corruption" to them? She looked unhappy and walked away without comment; i.e. a "time out" on our close "diplomatic relation" shall remain in effect during the following 24 hours before "anything" starts melting!

Hasina's VISION 20/20 (Please ignore her "almost damaged" one Eye here!) balloon has already hit the air with "yes madam battalion's" political sodomy, and more scurrilous charges shall be coming out of Awami League's lock boxes soon. Besides "poisoned foods" charge, digital allegations of "Graves dug and ready" for Haisna (and probably for Khaleda) in the backyards of VIP prisons, Cross-Fire surprises (to kill Hasina) would be the upcoming political explosives and more are still cooking! But don't worry much! The absolute news is unbelievably inspiring! Despite knowing of all these serious allegations (and of her own arrest), a kinder and gentler Hasina has promptly exercised the PM's prerogative of "quietly pardoning" butchers Moenuddin Fakruddin and has also instructed her lieutenants not to publicly criticize them! This instantly reminded me of Pope John Paul II who pardoned his "would be assassin" Mehmet Ali Agca. Agca shot and seriously wounded the Pope in the Vatican City's St. Peter's Square on May 13, 1981. This nation now must take jubilant prides on Saint Hasina's magnanimity and kindness to her "would be killers" Moen and Fakruddin!

In another showdown, Hasina's most obedient mistress, toady and "Chungabaz" Motia Chowdhury said "Sheikh Hasina numbers as one of the top 10 people in the world at risk of assassination. Hasina has opponents such as the (main opposition) BNP, who have repeatedly tried to assassinate her, both while in power and out of power". Stupidity should have a limit! "Motia bibi" knew very well that it was Mujib's the most trusted right hand, Khondkar "Tupi" Mostaque along with members of regular armed forces those mercilessly killed Mujib and his family members. No Razakar, No BNP or any other political opponents were involved in this killing field. Did not all these AL "cowards" instantly vanish to fox holes after the assassination of Sk. Mujib? Also, Awami Legue's principal struts like Tofael Ahamed, Amir Hussain Amu and Suranjit Sen gangs were behind MINUS 2 conspiracy of "removing Hasina" along with Moen and Fakruddin, not BNP! If Sajeda/Motia derivatives complains against BNP (of killing Hasina or Food poison by CTG) have credible evidences, Hasina government should prosecute those perpetrators involved with full extend of the law, instead of making stupid and misleading public statements!

On "Protection, Safety and Security for life": Sk. Mujib's special elite force, a stalwart "Rakkhi Bahini" could not save his life and now, a Cheesy "Special Security and Protections Acts" for the living Mujib family members shall not guarantee absolute security and that this Acts (Law) would promptly be disposed off by all future non-Awami League Governments! To me, the best idea for their "Life Long Security" would be incarcerating them (Khaleda included) in a "Maximum Security Prison for Life"; because both scourges (Khaleda and Hasina) have been "politically, legally and morally" protecting BNP/AL mafia gangs (aka, patriots) for more than 18 years, culpable for ruining the economy of this poor nation designated "the most corrupted country in the Universe". At this moment however, Hasina could be a powerful "Advisor" to Iran's defeated Presidential candidate Mirhossein Moussavi and could help developing effective strategic initiatives on "Lagathar Hartal and Abordth" against Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's government!

Last week, this wicked leader of the House, I mean mercurial Hasina lectured opposition leader Khaleda to return to the Parliament during her valedictory speech before the JS was prorogued at the end of the budget session! How could this amazing character forget own immediate past so fast? Instead of joining the Parliament, Hasina and her entire AL Parliament entourages invaded the streets and celebrated year-round "Lagathar Hartal and Aborodh" against elected BNP government those made public life unspeakably miserable and also invited State of Emergency (but took full benefits of MPs!)! Also, bunches of fat ladies like "Shreemoti" Sajeda Chowdhuy, Motia Chowdhury, Dipu Moni MBBS, fat guys like Water Minister "Sree" Romesh Chandra Sen and few other AL front runners only see "New Delhi and Kutub Minar" from their living rooms in Dhaka. These useless AL compatriots of reversed patriotism should be kicked out from the public office ASAP with "full benefits of disgrace" and be exported to work in the kitchen of "Amjadia Hotel and Restaurant" in central Kolkata, Best Bengal (I mean, West Bengal of our good and friendly neighbor, India).

We should not look at what these monsters Khaleda and Hasina are saying; should only look at what they are exactly doing. This nation has not got any sweet smell of their success yet! Both of these obstinate women, especially churlish Hasina believes that she had a mandate from God to be in power for life in this impoverished nation! These women are politically uneducated, irrational, and obviously delusional and do not care about 160 million people except desperate greed for the sinecure by grabbing state power. Well, Bangladesh has politically been always a wicked place and almost all our politicians are wicked and corrupt to the bones by all means. Sadly, history cannot and could not change their minds. But who knows, they could be the "future sheep to the slaughter house" by turns! These "brand name leaders" are pathological liars, have no respect for the law and are rampant abusers of Bangladesh Constitution. These thugs would have been in prison for life long time ago if Bangladesh were a true civilized democracy.

And now, keeping aside all these disparaging sentiments above, one need to recognize that these 2 step-sisters (Hasina and Khaleda) are not angels, they are only human beings! This poor nation does not wish to or expect them to be any angel but they must bring positive changes in their political and leadership behaviors with visible actions. Hasina and Khaleda must turn around, communicate with open minds and discuss exigent national issues like corruptions, energy (electricity), waters, employments, investments, public health care, communication, education, violence, public security, extra-judicial killings etc., showing civility in politics and demonstrating teachings of true democracy. They must put the nation ahead of their party. Patriotism is not loyalty to AL/BNP but to the interest of 160 million poverty stricken people of Bangladesh and they must pay attention to the common causes and common benefits of the common people. Success in political world can be painfully ephemeral. Politicians do understand and have known of this destiny pretty well from our past history of governance and government. Sadly, lessons were ignored again and again and heavy prices then followed. Miserable fate of our founding father who established dictatorial democracy at the last leg should be an unforgettable example. Nation's adulation one day can turn all too quickly to rancorous jeers next.

And finally, when Nelson Mandela was sworn in May 1994 as South Africa's first black President, his predecessor, former President F.W. Clerk stood next to him in an unprecedented display and unity for their Homeland. With the "Pains of Freedom" in minds, this occasion was an auspicious beginning to new South Africa. It marked an end to the iniquitous system of apartheid which was intended systematically to oppress all nonwhites. Our politicians, especially Hasina and Khaleda must recognize all such missions of sacrifices for our independence and our "long walk to the freedom" with strong conviction of working together for the true survival of this deprived nation of 160 million people.
